I would like to take this time to thank Kat Teraji for her wonderful and sterotype-shattering article about Muslims, “Breaking the stereotypes of Islamic faith” (Feb. 13, 2004).
It was wonderful and refreshing to read about Muslims that focused on our shared humanity and values as citizens of this planet rather than what divides us. Teraji’s eloquent article captured the true essence of Islam and the ING speakers. Bravo and congratulations to her on a job well done.
May Allah (Arabic for God) bless and preserve her.
