Gavilan gridmen hope fans come out to support them in Nov. 29
playoff game vs. Sierra
GILROY – The Gavilan College football team is off to the Shrine Bowl to take on state-ranked Sierra College and the Rams want to bring a flock of hometown fans along with them to Sacramento.
The Coast Conference Champions will play in the Capitol Shrine Bowl on November 29 at noon at Sacramento City College.
Fans and supporters can pre-purchase tickets for the game by calling Athletic Director Ron Hannon at 848-4895. Tickets are $10 each, a portion of which (when pre-purchased through Gavilan College Athletics) will help to offset the cost of participating in the bowl game.
The college is also looking for sponsors to help with the overall expenditures of the trip to Sacramento. For information, call Ron Hannon at 848-4895.
