Mixed doubles magic

The 260-member Gilroy Tennis Club holds tournaments once a month
for members. The latest was a mixed doubles field competing at Las
Animas Park and Gilroy High.
The 23-team tournament concluded with three division champions – Herman Schmalzreid and Carol Debolt in 6.0s; Ray and Lisa Blagof in 7.0s; and Eileen Obata and Tony Bontempi in 8.0s.
