GILROY—If you’ve ever dreamed of being face-to-face with Major League Baseball’s most coveted prize, now’s your chance.
The San Francisco Giants’ 2014, 2012 and 2010 trophies will make a stop in Gilroy as part of the San Francisco Giants World Championship Trophy Tour presented by Bank of America. They will be on display from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Wheeler Community Center, 250 West 6th Street, Gilroy.
Fans will be allowed one personal photo per person with the trophies. Those coming in groups will have the option of a group or individual photo, but not both. The Giants will also have a professional photographer on hand for photos, which can be purchased on site or online.
The trophies will be on display for two hours and fans are encouraged to arrive early to ensure their photo with them. A Giants representative will be on hand to assess a cut-off point in the line, if needed. Those who arrive within the designated time are not guaranteed a photo with the trophy.
