A preliminary hearing for Santy Robillos, a Tracy man accused of sexual assault crimes that happened in Morgan Hill a decade ago, will take place June 3.

Robillos, 45, was in court for a pretrial hearing Friday. He previously pleaded not guilty to four counts of lewd behavior alleging that he repeatedly molested a young girl in Morgan Hill.

Robillos was arrested Sept. 20, 2010, by Morgan Hill and Tracy police at his home on Kavanagh Avenue in Tracy, following an investigation into the abuse allegations. Police said in 2000 and 2002, Robillos repeatedly molested a girl who was about 6 or 7 years old.

Robillos was a friend of the victim’s family at the time the offenses happened, police said. During the investigation, police also found that a neighbor of the victim, who was 9 years old at the time, was also sexually assaulted by Robillos.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges March 10.

If convicted, Robillos faces a maximum sentence of 48 years in prison.
