Junior guard Tyson Hill drained a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give Christopher High’s boys basketball team a 65-64 road win over Salinas on Wednesday, spoiling the Cowboys’ Senior Night with what Cougars coach Kaden Bahner called the “most amazing finish” he has ever seen.

Wyatt Rocheleau hit two quick 3-pointers to cut Salinas’ lead to 64-62 after the Cougars had trailed by eight points with 57 seconds left.

A steal by Andrew Foster set up Hill’s winning 3-pointer from the left corner, setting off a wild celebration for the Cougars.

“I am so proud of our players for not giving up,” Bahner said. “They deserved this win because they never gave up.”

Rocheleau led Christopher with 20 points. Shane Suttles scored 17 points for the Cougars, who got 12 points from Foster and eight points from Evan Shapiro.
