Gilroy High School student Samantha Holder has already earned $2,000 for her college education after being selected as a California Scholarship Federation Seymour finalist.
As a finalist, Holder, a member of the academic honor society, is eligible for an additional $3,000 in scholarship funds.
CSF, founded in 1921, is the oldest academic honor society in California. It represents 64,000 student members and awards $121,250 each year to CSF members.
