Battery

Juventino Olivares, 20 of Gilroy, was arrested Jan. 30 at 10:50 p.m. on the 700 block of El Cerrito for violation of a protective order, assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or coinhabitant, grand theft, battery against a spouse or coinhabitant and challenging/fighting in a public place.

Nathan Tomasini, 36 and a transient, Feb. 1 at noon on the 500 block of Old Gilroy for petty theft of personal property and battery against a spouse.

Burglary

Levonna Scott, 23 of Oakland, Feb. 2 at 2:50 p.m. on the 7000 block of Hanna Street for attempted petty theft, petty theft, second degree burglary and making/passing fictitious checks.

Marguerite Hart, 21 of Vallejo, Feb. 6 at 12:55 p.m. on Hanna Street for second degree burglary and attempted petty theft of personal property.

Michael Eredia, 37 of Gilroy, Feb. 6 at 1:34 p.m. on Church and Howsan for probation violation, possession of burglary tools and first degree burglary.

Embezzlement

Johnbryan Troncoso, 23 of Gilroy, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. on the 7000 block of Camino Arroyo for embezzlement over $400.

Grand theft

Patrick Lemmon, 24 of Gilroy, Jan. 31 at 8 a.m. on the 7000 block of Hanna Street for grand theft of personal property.

Austin Kuhn, 23 and a transient, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. on the 6000 block of Camino Arroyo for several outstanding warrants: obstructing/resisting an officer, possession of a stolen vehicle, grand theft and three felony first degree burglary warrants.

Hit and run

Aaron Carlon, 42 of Gilroy, Feb. 2 at 7 a.m. on the 200 block of Lewis Street for a warrant hit and run.

Horacio Cernas, 22 of Gilroy, Feb. 4 at 2:03 a.m. on Forest and Sixth streets for hit and run and driving under the influence.

Joshua Rojas, 23 of Gilroy, Feb. 6 at 8:33 p.m. on Eigleberry and Fifth for driving with privileges suspended, hit and run, and driving under the influence.

Lewd acts

Victor Aguilera, 26 of Gilroy, Feb. 2 at 10:54 p.m. on the 7000 block of Hanna Street for lewd and lascivious acts with a child. His bail was set at $50,000.

Miscellaneous

Lazaro Barrios, 22 of Gilroy, Feb. 3 at 1:09 a.m. on Third and Eigleberry for expired registration, driving with privileges suspended and display of license plates.

Marcus Pardo, 25 of Gilroy, Feb. 3 at 2:41 p.m. on the 7000 block of Monterey Road for a parole hold.

Jose Rodriguez, 22 of Hollister, Feb. 4 at 9:54 p.m. on Mantelli and Church Street for giving false ID to police officers and violation of a protective order.

Ruth Nucera, 25 of San Martin, Feb. 5 at 11:09 a.m. on Uvas Road for expired registration and driving with privileges suspended.

Alberto Chacon, 28 of Gilroy, Feb. 7 at 5:15 a.m. on Mantelli for violation of a protective order.

Patricia Rothfuss, 38 of Santa Cruz, Feb. 3 at 5:19 p.m. on the 700 block of First Street for petty theft.

Julias Gatihi, 26 of Gilroy, Feb. 5 at 12:42 a.m. on the 5000 block of Mesa Road for petty theft, hit and run, driving without owners permission.

Tracey Sepulveda, 24 of Gilroy, Feb. 5 at 10:04 a.m. on the 900 block of Montebello for petty theft with priors.

Luis Ortiz, 40 of Gilroy, Feb. 6 at 4:18 p.m. on the 300 block of Leavesley Road for suspended license, driving without a license and using a wireless telephone device while driving.

Possession

Veronica Castro, 31 of Gilroy, Feb. 2 at 11:46 p.m. on Sixth Street for possession/manufacturing/selling dangerous weapons and carrying a loaded firearm on the person.

Rusty Lopez, 29 of Los Banos, Feb. 3 at 9:29 p.m. on 10th Street for possession of ammunition.

Colton Hightower, 22 of Gilroy, Feb. 4 at 5:38 p.m. on Mantelli and Rancho Hills for possession of a controlled substance, driving while unlicensed and driving with privileges suspended.

Robbery

Shedrick Harris, 18 of Gilroy, Feb. 7 at 8:20 a.m. on the 7000 block of Dritwood and Westwood for robbery.

Under the influence

Mario Cendejas, 44 of Campbell, Deb. 2 at 11:24 p.m. on First and Wren for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance.

Bruce Gallardo, 37 of Gilroy, Feb. 3 at 12:30 a.m. on First and Miller for being under the influence of alcohol, drugs and controlled substances.

Jonathan Arroyo, 22 of Gilroy, Feb. 3 at 6:01 p.m. on Forest and Wheeler for theft or unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license, and driving under the influence.

Ronald Vasquez, 30 of Gilroy, Feb. 5 at 12:40 a.m. on the 700 block of El Cerrito for driving under the influence and driving while unlicensed.
