Portion of 6th Street closed through Friday

Sixth Street is closed between Church and Rosanna Streets until 5 p.m. Friday because of the “demolition” of the Sixth/Rosanna streets intersection, the City of Gilroy announced on its website.

The intersection will be tied into the new city library and Wheeler Community Center parking lot, according to the city.

Pedestrians can still gain access to the community center during the street closure.
