Aaron Matthew Castro, 24, died in Hollister on Aug. 27, 2003 following a motorcycle accident.
Aaron was born in Gilroy on March 6, 1979, to Ricky and Joann (Rizzi) Castro.
He moved to Lakeport with his mom in 1984. Aaron lived in Lakeport throughout his school years but moved back to Gilroy after graduation. He met the love of his life, Kellie, in 1999. He also loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his motorcycles. He was employed as a detail manager for Greenwood Chevrolet in Hollister. Aaron was everyone’s favorite brother, son, grandson and friend. He will be remembered for his pleasant demeanor, sense of humor and his wild stories.
Aaron is survived by his fiancé, Kellie Sullenger, of Salinas; his father Ricky (and Susan) Castro of Gilroy, his mother Joann (and Kelly) Pickering of Shelton, Wash.; step-father Rich Jones of Chowchilla; brothers Rick (and Misty) Castro of Hollister, Jon (and Norma) Castro, of Gilroy, Al Castro of Gilroy, Geremy Rizzi of Shelton, Nate Burton, of Gilroy, his sisters Richelle (and John) Luzitano of Bremerton, Wash., Vanessa Castro of Gilroy and Emily Burton of Gilroy. Aaron is also survived by his grandparents Tommy and Loa Castro of Gilroy and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Florence Rizzi.
Visitation was held on Monday at Habing Family Funeral Home. The Funeral Service was held Tuesday at at the funeral home.
