Since 1973 hairdressers Stan Sotello and Mark Shiplett have been decorating Robert Raymond Salon, which has been at 7465 Eigleberry St. for the past 17 years (it used to be across the street).
Their collection got bigger and bigger and floor space got smaller, so they found innovative ways to display their Christmas-themed wares on the ceilings and walls. The place looks like a winter wonderland with different themes, including very old ornaments, children’s toy ornaments and traditional ones. On Sunday, Dec. 17, they are selling off some of the collectibles and donating part of the profits to South County Tail Waggers, the dog rescue organization.
