DEAR EDITOR:
I respect Mr. Burton’s right to his own opinion, and he has made valid points when it comes to his assessment of Gov. Gray Davis. However, he states nothing that would make Arnold Schwarzenegger a good replacement for Gov. Davis.
Schwarzenegger has absolutely no experience in elected office. He refused to participate in the first debate. And his handlers would only allow him to participate in the most recent debate if they were given the questions in advance.
We need someone who can think on his/her feet. Not all of politics is scripted like a Hollywood movie. Please, voters, make an informed decision. Look at the candidates closely. Read their statements. What are their stances on issues important to you and your family? Just because one person is famous does not make him or her a good candidate for governor of California.
