Few details have emerged in the week following an early morning raid in Gilroy, in which a 42-year-old man wanted by local police was apprehended by federal agents on yet-to-be-announced charges.
FBI agents and Gilroy Police Department officers raided a home on the 200 block of Lewis Street Thursday morning and arrested a 42-year-old man, police said.
Morgan Hill - Police are looking for three to four "nicely dressed" Filipino or Asian men they say burglarized two homes on Grand Prix Way and Lancia Drive in north Morgan Hill sometime between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Monday. Witnesses told police they saw the men in a white or silver Honda or Acura at or near the homes. They were wearing slacks with polo-type shirts, police said.
Morgan Hill - Police have identified a suspect in the string of seven burglaries that occurred between mid December and early January in southwest Morgan Hill. Police are looking for Jose Steven Torres, 21 of Morgan Hill who was identified by multiple witnesses as being in the immediate area as the burglaries.
The Gilroy Police Department arrested three of its "Most Wanted" suspects in a little more than a week, including one man who was subdued by a police baton in a grocery store parking lot, GPD Sgt. Chad Gallacinao said.
