I am writing on behalf of the students of El Portal Leadership Academy. The students are planning a bowl-a-thon, to help raise funds for their school.
The funds the students raise will be used for much needed sports equipment for the students, field trips to colleges and universities, theatre arts, and educational conferences.
The bowl-a-thon will take place at the Gilroy Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 16. We are hopeful that the local businesses will help the students by sponsoring a lane, sponsoring a bowler, and or donating items to be used as prizes.
