Allstate Exclusive Agent Arline Silva received the Agency Hands in the Community award for her commitment to helping others in her area. With this award comes a $1,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the South Valley Symphony Association Inc where Silva volunteers.
To qualify for the grant, agents and personal financial representatives must show evidence of volunteer work that has had a positive impact on the local community.
Rehab program celebrates anniversary
The Saint Louise Regional Hospital Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is celebrating its one-year anniversary on April 28. This program is covered by Medicare and most insurance companies.

Loan help
The City of Gilroy offers down payment assistance loans between $20,000 to $50,000 to eligible low- and moderate-income homebuyers. The program is open to Gilroy residents who are first-time homebuyers and city and Gilroy Unified School District employees seeking to purchase a home in Gilroy.
