highlights when the Catholic Ladies Aid Society of Gilroy met
recently at the Serra Cottage in Gilroy.
GILROY – A potluck luncheon and installation of officers were highlights when the Catholic Ladies Aid Society of Gilroy met recently at the Serra Cottage in Gilroy.

Grand President Joyce Gressel of the Bay Area and other grand officers installed the local officers.

Heading the society for the coming year are: President Felicia Rosas; Past President Lupe Sanchez; Senior Vice President Bruna Goold; Junior Vice President Helen Hansen; Treasurer Evelyn Codiga; Financial Secretary Delores Corrales; Recording Secretary Aurora Erojo; Corresponding Secretary Bette Scarper; Marshal Deloris Blake; Guard Elisa Ruiz; and Executive Committee Marie Pirozzoli, Lorraine Matin and Natalie Ayala.

One of the oldest organizations in Gilroy, the Catholic Ladies Aid Society operates a religious store at St. Mary Church, donates scholarships to St. Mary School, subsidizes the St. Joeseph Welfare Center and contributes to other parish and community events.
