Daniel Garcia passed away on June 6 in Las Vegas, Nev. He was 34.
He is survived by wife Salena Christina Garcia, daughter Catherine Celine Garcia and newborn son Daniel Jonathan Garcia, all of Las Vegas. He is also survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Santos Garcia, formerly of Gilroy; brothers Santos Garcia and wife Teresa and Edward Garcia and wife Veronica of Las Vegas; nephew Austin Garcia; nieces Destinee and Mikayla Garcia of Visalia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmother “Nana” Alicia Gonzales and great aunt Hermina Martinez “Tia Minnie” of Gilroy.
Daniel “Danny” loved playing varsity baseball for Gilroy High. He continued to play for the local leagues for recreation. He will be remembered as a considerate, timid, loving individual, a loving husband, great father, lively, understanding, generous son, and caring nephew. He was always ready to help anyone in need. Even in death he saved life.
His kind, loving spirit will be missed and he will forever be in the hearts of loved ones. A fund has been set up through Washington Mutual Bank, 3931509183.
