Christmas Arts and Crafts show

Gilroy – The Gilroy Senior Center, at the corner of 6th and Hanna Streets, will host a Christmas Arts and Crafts show on Nov. 20 and 21, from 10am to 4pm.

There is no admission cost. Shop early and enjoy the Christmas Season.

Hand crafted gifts from local vendors, baked goods, lumpia and lots more will start your holidays off right.

Gav presents ‘A Christmas Carol’

Gilroy – Gavilan College Children’s Theater presents “A Christmas Carol”, by Charles Dickens, directed by Julianne Palma.

The classic Christmas story with Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future will be brought to life in the Gavilan College Theater.

Special guest artist Jim Cave stars, and weaves the story of Scrooge together with the skill of a master storyteller.

Specially scheduled educational shows during the day are convenient for schools and groups.

They began Nov. 4 and are scheduled for 9:30am every Tuesday and Thursday through Dec. 9 and include special school pricing at $3.50 per seat.

Family performances will be be presented Dec. 3, 4, 10, and 11 at 7:30pm at Gavilan College Theater, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd.

AAUW annual luncheon Wednesday

San Martin – The Women’s Association of The Presbyterian Church of San Martin will hold their annual luncheon and bazaar on Nov. 17, from 11am to 2pm at 13200 Lincoln and Springs streets.

Help companion animals in need

San Martin – The Friends of San Martin Animal Shelter (FOSMAS) need help to find loving families for the many homeless companion animals currently at the shelter and in foster homes.

Please come to the FOSMAS petfair on Dec. 4 and 5, noon – 5pm at Petco, Morgan Hill, to find a new furry friend.

Make a donation to help cover spay/neuter, food, and litter expenses, or sign-up to volunteer at the shelter.
