intersection began Tuesday. Temporary stop signs will make the
intersection a four-way stop for one to two weeks. Once the
underground work is done, the existing intersection signal will be
re-energized. Golden Bay Construction is the contractor on this

Live Auctiion
GILROY – CMAP will conduct a televised live auction from May 21-23. Be a Junior Ranger
GILROY – Coyote Lake County Park is having a free Junior Ranger program for kids 9 to 12 years old. Learn about the roles of a Park Ranger, plants and animals in the park, and the Ohlone people who once lived here. Junior Rangers meet six times from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, March 24 and 31, and April 7, 21 and 28. Details and registration: 846-5632.
Swim with Gators
GILROY – The Gilroy Gator Swim Team will hold its annual swim clinic and swim team tryouts from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Gilroy High School pool Monday, March 29 through Friday, Apr. 2. Kids 5 to 18 who know how to swim can join the fun. Registration forms are available at the GHS pool office between 5 and 6 p.m. Registration form and fee of $20 must be received by Sunday, March 21 or a late fee of $5 will be charged. GILROY – The Gilroy Chapter of the John Birch Society presents “Trespassing Allowed the Free Trade of the Americas,” a video which connects concerns over immigration to the FTAA, on Thursday, March 25 at 8 p.m., at the Gilroy Medical Park Library, bldg. A, 7880 Wren Ave.
