Dorothy Bernice Boone died Friday, July 2, 2004, in Gilroy after a lengthy illness.
She was 91.
Born October 30, 1912 on the family homestead in Alexandria, S.D., she is survived by her sister, Winifred Esther Connell of Capitola; her brother Dale Boice Connell of Gilroy; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raynald ”Buck” Boone and her three brothers.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2004, at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy under direction of Habing Family Funeral Home.
The family would appreciate donations to the Gilroy Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.
