Emergency officials responded to a fight between at least two students at Gilroy High School Thursday, though no one was hospitalized or cited, according to the Gilroy Police Department.
GPD Cpl. Paco Rodriguez said police, firefighters and paramedics were called to an area near the GHS baseball fields after the fight was reported. As many as four police vehicles were on scene at one time.
Around 3:30 p.m., police were seen interviewing two young males that Rodriguez said were GHS students and were minors.
“As far as we know, there’s two people involved,” Rodriguez said. “There was definitely a lot of onlookers. We’re still trying to figure out who else was involved.”
Rodriguez described one of the students as “uncooperative.”
He said police responded to school fights on a regular basis.
