Justin Baker homered and Ray Bustinza hit a single and triple, scoring three runs for the league leaders. Tony Smith added a two-run single.

Trevor Sheedy singled and scored on a Devon Humphrey grounder to account for the Team Beefy marker.

The Good Ole Boys grabbed second place at 2-1 by outlasting Animal Health Center 5-3.

The Good Ole Boys pushed across three runs in the second inning for a 4-0 cushion. David Tripathi poked an RBI-single and scored on a two-run double by Pat Chris.

Jeff Speno scored two runs and Chris finished with three hits for the winners. Joel Guerrero and Frank Flores each collected two Animal Health Center hits. Nick Doubek homered for the losers.

Just Drink It reached 2-0 in Men’s Fall CCC action Monday at Christmas Hill Park with a 9-8 squeaker over the Loco Boys.

Drink struck for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to snap a 6-6 tie. Frank Cabrera lopped a two-run single and Cesar Lopez netted an RBI-single.

Ed Cordia managed two RBI and Cabrera went 3-for-3 for the winners. Alex Pena drove in four Loco Boys hits with two singles and a sacrifice fly.

Malibu Heat joined Just Drink It at 2-0 with a forfeit win over Cali Boyz-SMJ Mechanical.

Cencal Autobody Supplies opened CCC play with a 12-2 decision over Feather Haven Feeds.

Jacob Diaz hit a grand slam and Mathew Garcia went 3-for-4 and scored three runs for Cencal Autobody Supplies. Tim DeCarlo doubled and singled for Feather Haven Feeds.
