The goal of the Walk-a-Thon is to raise money for Gilroy’s St. Mary School and boost awareness of the importance of physical fitness and good nutrition.

St. Mary School’s fifth annual Walk-a-Thon, held April 4, raised about $45,000.
The goal of the Walk-a-Thon is to raise money for Gilroy’s St. Mary School and boost awareness of the importance of physical fitness and good nutrition.
The top fundraising class—the seventh grade—raised $12,227, according to the the Walk-a-Thon committee.
The committee thanks the parents, grandparents, teachers and administrators who walked with and cheered on walkers, as well as event sponsors:
