Gilroy’s local Future Farmers of America club will host its annual Flower Fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday at the Gilroy AG Farm, located at 9110 Kern Ave.
Heather Nolan, lead ag teacher and ag program adviser for Gilroy High School, said the sale will feature beautiful flora including gerber daisies, snapdragons, ranunculus, coleus, primrose, zinnia, petunias dianthus and more. Prices begin at $1; cash only, please.Â
All proceeds from the event – which has been going on for a number of years – will raise money to send FFA students to leadership conferences, for which there are registration fees.
A pre-sale will also take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Gilroy AG Farm.
