Gilroy – Four local businesses were cited by Gilroy Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team for selling alcoholic beverages to minors.

The ACT team, in conjunction with agents from Alcohol Beverage Control, used minors younger than 21-years-old at 22 convenience and liquor stores during a series of compliance checks Friday night.

Buy & Go Market, 8401 Church St., El Paraiso Meat Market, 150 Leavesley Road; 7-Eleven 162 10th St.; and Charlies Liquors 166 W. 10th St. were all cited for selling alcohol to minors.

The ACT team routinely conducts this type of operation.
