In addition to a new principal at Gilroy High School, the Gilroy Unified School District recently welcomed four new administrators.

Mary Ann Boylan, who headed up the T.J. Owens Gilroy Early College Academy since November as interim principal, will come back as the academy’s principal in the fall. Boylan comes to T.J. Owens with more than 15 years of experience as a principal and, most recently, three years as assistant principal of Gilroy High School.

Kirsten Saling-Spinney brings experience in both the public and private sectors to her new appointment as director of fiscal services. She is currently the manager of fiscal services in the Hollister school district.

Trustees approved the appointment of Deborah Toups as director of student services. Toups came to the district in March as interim director of student services after serving as program manager for special education in a San Diego school district for six years.

Anisha Munshi will move from her position as assistant principal of South Valley Middle School to the same position at Ascencion Solorsano Middle School next school year. Munshi was a classroom teacher for 6 years in the district before serving one year as assistant principal at South Valley.
