GILROY – Gaeta’s Taqueria moved into a tie for first place in the Co-Rec Winter B League Thursday with a 13-10 victory over the Sand Pit at Christmas Hill Park.

Art Del Valle went 4-for-4 with a home run as Gaeta’s improved to 5-1, joining Handmade Healthcare in first with two games to play in the regular season. Gaeta’s and Handmade have a 7:40 p.mm. showdown Thursday at Christmas Hill.

Ruben Ramirez went 4-for-4 and Stevie Martinez homered for the Taqueria. Daniel Vasquez and George Salgado Jr. hit home runs for 3-3 Sand Pit.

Albert Alosi went 4-for-5 to key a 31-14 Feather Haven Mill decision over Let’s Do This. John Vasquez, Paula Schroeder and Francis Lopez provided three hits each to the Let’s Do This offense.

Leroy Dozal went 3-for-3 and Marshall Silva added three extra-base hits in a 10-4 Lopez Vending Machines nod over Krazy Koyote. K.C. Adams went 4-for-5, Santos Garcia 3-for-4 for Krazy Koyote.

The Slammers and Boss Hawgs each claimed Men’s E League wins Friday at Christmas Hill To remain tied for second with two weeks to play.

Jesse Marquez went 3-for-5 to spark the Slammers (4-2) past VFW Bingo 18-2. Ray Morelos went 2-for-3 with one RBI for Bingo.

The Boss Hawgs (4-2) called on Manuel Rodriquez for a three-run home run to cap a 10-run fourth in a 14-7 decision over Blackout Window Tinting. Danny Hinojos finished with three Hawg hits. Jason Corral hit two Blackout triples.

Bubba Lara went 3-for-4 as Talk Alota Ship trimmed Get Low Players 7-5 in Men’s Winter DD League play Friday at Las Animas Park.

Danny Monroy tripled and singled as Talk improved to 4-1 atop the seven-team loop. Richard Zamarron singled and doubled for Get Low Players.

Countryside Daycare erased a 7-4 deficit after three innings to outlast Dirty Dozen 18-11. Kris Ferguson hit two homers, a double and single for 4-1 Daycare. Dave DeCarlo and Tim DeCarlo each lined four Countryside hits. Ruben Lujan hhit a homer and two doubles, Nick Salinas a triple and two singles for the Dozen.

Juan Sarmiento went 4-for-4 and Jarrod Hernandez went 4-for-5 as the Rebels powered by Aladdin Bail Bonds-Carreiro’s Plastering 19-12. Brent Boyd went 3-for-5 and scored four runs for Aladdin’s Bail Bonds-Carreiro’s Plastering.
