Get ready to ham it up, as amateur radio license testing will take place Saturday inside the El Toro Room at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center, located at 17000 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill.
The study and exam session will begin at 8 a.m. with testing for all levels starting at 1 p.m.
The class and test cost $24; for those who want to just take the test, cost is $14. To register, sent an email to

Participants must bring a photo ID, Social Security card or FRN, cash for fees, and previous License Grant if testing for upgrade. The session is sponsored by San Benito County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and W5YI-VEC.
