Ismael Loza, 24, of Gilroy, was killed Sunday at 2:20 p.m. when his 2005 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2006 Ford Ranger on Masten Avenue, according to the CHP.
The Ford, driven by Stephen Hajdu, was westbound on Masten at 10 miles an hour in the turning lane. Loza was heading east at an unknown speed, when he hit the Ranger’s right front fender.
Police and fire administered CPR, but couldn’t revive Loza.Â
Officers said there was no evidence of alcohol or drugs being involved in the crash.
Loza, a graduate of Live Oak High School and Gavilan College, worked at Tesla in Fremont and is survived by his wife, Stephanie.
