William J. Caprista

William J. Caprista, age 84 years, entered into rest of his home in Morgan Hill, CA, January 25, 2008. Bill is survived by the mother of his children, Teresa Caprista. He was the beloved father of Frank Caprista, Bill Caprista (Kerry) and Tena Knea (Tim), devoted grandfather of Kyle, Cory, Tessa, Cassidy and Keenan, and brother of Ann Bailey. Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Frank Caprista.

Loralee was a longtime Gilroy resident, most recently of Newman, CA. Services are on Thursday beginning with a 9:00 A.M. viewing followed by a funeral at 10:00 A.M both at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7999 Miller Ave., Gilroy. Burial will follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine.

Longtime resident, Maria De Gonzalez, passed away in Hollister. Services will be held in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Binit A. Patel passed away in San Jose at the age of 37. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home in Hollister. Cremation will be followed by private family inurnment.

Kyle was born on February 9, 1977 in Hollister, CA, died March 20, 2009 in Hollister, CA as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.

Dolores A. Butron June 13, 1921 – May 22, 2012

Resident of San Jose, age 90, died peacefully on May 22, 2012. The child of Phillip Guevara and Isabella Mendoza, Dolores was born June 13, 1921, in the City of Angels, CA.

Louise Weydell

Louise Weydell, 72, of Salinas, passed away on November 14, 2007 from lung cancer and peripheral vascular disease. She was born Myrtle Louise Powell on March 5, 1935, in Comanche, Oklahoma, a descendant of the earliest European pioneers in America and a direct descendant of Hannah Cole (1762-1843), the pioneer mother of Missouri. She was related to Daniel Boone, and her great-great- grandmother and uncles were portrayed in the John Wayne movie, "The Sons of Katie Elder."

Bertha Marguarite Ortez June 12, 1926 – January 3, 2017

On January 3, 2017 Bertha M. Ortez passed peacefully in her sleep after suffering from Alzheimers for several years. Bertha is survived by four daughters, step children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
