Bret Borges passed away in his home after a long illness on June 16, 2010. Bret was born March 6, 1966 in Watsonville, CA and moved with his family to Hollister when he was just a few months old. Bret attended local schools until the family moved to Hawaii when he was 7. When he turned 13, they moved back to Hollister where he attended and graduated from Calvary Christian School. During his high school years he enjoyed playing on the sports teams and served in the local Little League as an umpire. After high school he married his wife, Julie, and they were married for 23 years. Bret worked as a dispatcher most of his adult life. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces, baseball, collecting baseball cards, playing golf, all varieties of music, especially jazz, fireworks, enjoyed riding his motorcycle with friends and family, and was very generous and giving.
Jesus Atkinson, Sr. passed away at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto, CA, peacefully, surrounded by his family. He is survived by two brothers from CA, three sisters from AZ, and six children, Teresa Atkinson Hall, Wanda Atkinson Rodriguez, Jesus Atkinson, Jr., Pastor Franco Alberto Atkinson, Sr., Rodrigo Ray Atkinson and Narciso Atkinson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.
Beloved brother of Roberto San Raman and sisters, Manuela Pena, Jane Cervantes and Carmen Lujan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family for service at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tres Pinos, CA on Monday July 21, 2008 at 10:00 A.M.
Joe is survived by his wife Yvonne, children Heather (Edward) Callens, Justin (Arleah) Fields and Matthew Fields, and granddaughters Jenna and Jodi Fields.
Steve Churchill died on June 14th from brain cancer at age 66. He was the rock of his family and friends and leaves a legacy of laughter and wisdom behind. He always greeted life as an adventure. He is survived by his wife, Cathy, his daughters; Chris and Deb, his son, Mike, and seven grandchildren.
