Life long resident of Hollister, Peter "Joe" Sanchez, passed away in Salinas. Brother of Frank Sanchez of Columbus, GA and Lupe Lujan of Hollister, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Burial will be Wednesday, Sept. 30 @ 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by the local V.F.W.

Jeanne went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 83 in Hollister at Mabie Northside Convalescent with her husband and family at her bedside, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Lynn Massachusetts, she has been a Hollister resident for the past eight years.

Leora Del Sanders, age 83, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009 in Gilroy. She was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Sanders. She is survived by her sons Michael (Jan) of Morgan Hill, and Thomas (Debbie) of Victor, NY; grandchildren Jeffrey, Anthony, Gina, Kevin, Matthew and Amanda Sanders; nieces Judy Clink and Barbara Ahlin; nephew Steve Rocca and brother-in-law Jack Rocca. She is also survived by her close friend, Carol Nicoletti. Leora lived in Morgan Hill for 58 years and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for many years.

Clara M. Joyce passed away at her home on January 2, 2009 she was 91. Clara is survived by her sons James and wife Sherry Joyce of Redwood City, Frank and his wife Teresa Joyce of Carmel Valley and Michael and his wife Bonnie Joyce of Menlo Park, grandmother of Russell, Michael, Jennifer , Benjamin and his wife Becky, great-grandmother of Maddy. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell and daughter Mary Ann. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Clara was born in South Dakota and came to Gilroy in the late 70's, she was very active in community clubs , being an officer in Gilroy Seniors, Gilroy Fil-Am, Senior Bowling, Community Seniors Club, Gilroy Senior Site Council as well as her involvement at St. Mary's Church. Donations in her memory to the St. Mary's School Building Fund or a favorite charity are preferred and appreciated.

Eva was a loving mother-in-law to Florence, a grandmother to Sam (Kelly), Ken (Dulce), Ben (Michelle) and Ashley, a great-grandmother to Michael, Zachary, Jessica, Jake and Madison, and an aunt, cousin and friend to many.
