Fortunata Caballero Agonoy

A Visitation will begin today at 4:00 P.M. followed by a Vigil service at 6:30 P.M. both at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Burial will take place in the Philippines.

June Dolores Cofer

June D. Cofer passed away Friday at the age of 88. She came to Hollister in 1982 from Millbrae. Wife of the late Donald Miller Cofer and mother of James Cofer of San Mateo. Private graveside services will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo. Contributions to St. Benedict Church preferred.

John K. Barrett

John passed away peacefully with his loving wife Toni at his side. He is survived by three brothers, one sister and their spouses, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. John served his country and the Army bestowed the Bronze Star Medal with Valor (combat heroism), Purple Heart and more on this veteran. The Barretts retired to AZ and love to play bingo.

Carol Jean Vence

Carol Jean Vence, 64, of Goodyear died September 6, 2010, in Surprise, AZ. She was born June 4, 1946, in Belleville, IL. She moved to Arizona in 2006. She was a homemaker and attended Vision Baptist Church.

Lena Blythe Andrew

Lena Blythe Andrew passed away in Monterey, California at the age of 97. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and lived with her two daughters for the past 7 years. She and her husband, Haydn Andrew had moved to Modesto soon after their marriage in 1933, where they raised their family. Blythe was a bookkeeper for her husband who owned a paint store and was a painting contractor. Later, she worked for the Teamsters Union also as a bookkeeper. She and her husband served labor missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in New Zealand, the South Pacific Islands, Europe and the western United States from 1957 to 1978, overseeing the building of churches and temples. Blythe loved her family and was a great blessing to them. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1992. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Carol Jean and Dennis Barrett of San Juan Bautista and Mary Jane and Stanley Robbins of Pacific Grove. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
