The Gilroy High girls varsity soccer team played to its second tie of the week, drawing 0-0 with visiting Presentation (1-0-3) on Friday.
“It was a high pressure game, physical and we just couldn’t get much going,” GHS head coach Jose Hernandez said.
The Mustangs (1-1-2) began the week with a 1-1 decision against Monta Vista.
Hernandez said his team is properly dealing with a few early-season injuries and playing through some of the pain.
“We are progressing and dealing with snags a little better. So it’s good in that sense,” he said.
Watsonville High School comes to town as GHS resumes non-league action at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
