Davis Tripathi slapped a three-run triple and Robie Kramer and Richard Braquet added RBI-singles to highlight the Good Ole Boys sixth frame.
Pat Chris delivered a single, double and triple for the Boys, while Jeff Speno and Don Haygood scored three runs apiece.
Brad Kyle went 2-for-3 and scored two Team Beefy runs. Harkin Sheedy netted two RBI with a double and single for the Beef.
VFW Bingo dropped a 16-1 decision to 2NQ to slip to 4-1 atop the EE standings.
Ed Cordia roped a three-run home run and two doubles as 2NQ advanced to 3-1. Jason Kearns added two doubles and a single, scoring three Barbecue markers.
VFW, after scoring at least 17 runs in each of the team’s first four games, went scoreless against 2NQ until Mike Perry scored in the final inning. Frankie Perez went 2-for-2 for VFW Bingo.
Tony’s Embroidery is third at 3-2 after a 32-5 win over the SVCC Men of Thunder.
David Medina poked a three-run home run and Anthony Lucio and Brian Fialkosky each added a two-run homer for Tony’s Embroidery. Lucio went 5-for-5, Tracy Sustaita 4-for-4 for the winners. Javier Huerta mashed a three-run home run, Chet Allen went 3-for-3 and Mike Swanson tripled and singled for the Men of Thunder.
Walton & Sons Masonry moved to 4-1 in first place in the Men’s E League Thursday with a 10-7 victory over Claddagh Brew Crew at Christmas Hill Park.
Jaredd Reeve’s three-run home run in the fourth gave Masonry an 8-2 lead. Geoff Graves cracked two Masonry homers and a double, plating four runs.
Willie Weihman went 3-for-4 and Ray Berzins went 3-for-3 with one RBI for 2-2 Claddagh.
The Titans are second at 3-1 by defeating the Assassins 20-5.
Steve Welch went 4-for-4 and Vance Lee went 3-for-3 and drove in five runs for the Titans. Jason Corona connected on a solo home run and Gilbert Lujan plated two runs for the Assassins.
St. Mary Men’s Club trimmed SVCC Sons of Thunder 6-3 behind a five-run outburst in the first inning. Shawn Chizanskos hit a two-run triple in the St. Mary first stanza. Terry Cooper went 3-for-3 for the winners. Adolfo Tellez tripled and singled for the Sons of Thunder.
Los Gigantes primed for next week’s showdown with unbeaten ConAgra Foods by edging past Pizza N Stuff 12-8 in Men’s CC League adult softball play Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park.
Armando Hernandez and Steve Christian each scored three runs and Isaiah Gonzalez lined a two-run home run as Los Gigantes moved to 3-1 in first-half play.
Los Gigantes will play 4-0 ConAgra Foods on Wednesday.
Matias Franco collected a single and triple, Juan Arias a double and single, for Los Gigantes. Pizza N Stuff grabbed an 8-0 lead by striking for seven runs in the top of the third inning. Jordan Newton and Dave Newton each netted two singles in the Pizza rally.
Jordan Newton led the losers with three hits.
ConAgra Foods defeated Lopez Investments 9-3 in the triplebill opener.
Jess Lopez Jr. hit a run-scoring triple and scored on a Mike Lopez single in the top of the fourth for a 2-1 Investment edge. A two-out infield error led to four unearned runs for ConAgra in the fourth.
Francisco Orosco stroked two doubles and Addison Quach went 2-for-3 and scored twice for ConAgra. Mike McIntyre added a double and single to the Lopez Investment cause.
The Platinum Roofing Slammers joined Los Gigantes in second at 3-1 with a 21-18 decision over Feather Haven Feeds.
Noe DeLaTorre went 5-for-5 with four RBI for the Slammers. Anthony Corral added a double and three singles. Manuel Juarez keyed an eight-run sixth inning that gave the Slammers a 19-8 lead.
John DeCarlo Jr. anchored the Feather Haven Feeds offense with a two-run triple and three singles. Jesse Nunez, Bob Regianni, Louie Aguayo and Brian Sullivan each posted three hits for Feather Haven Feeds.
The M&M’s moved to 2-2 in Women’s C League play with a 33-3 win over Stewart Title Wednesday at Las Animas Park.
Suzie Schafer powered a grand slam and a three-run home run on the way to a 6-for-6 evening for the M&M’s. Becky Obama and Karen Turnland each went 5-for-5, Laura Hagiperos 5-for-6 for the winners. Lisa Hernandez doubled for Stewart Title.
