The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate a hit-and-run car crash that occurred in the area Hecker Pass Highway and Watsonville Road about 2:20 on Thursday. As of Friday morning, the suspect has not been caught. 

After running into a red sports car on Hecker Pass Highway, the suspects fled their silver Chrysler on foot in an unknown direction, leaving their damaged vehicle in the roadway, according to a CHP dispatcher. 

No injuries have been reported.

The suspects’ car was towed around 3 p.m., according to the CHP report. The suspects are currently outstanding.
