An early evening three alarm fire at an electronic recycling center filled south Gilroy skies with smoke Saturday evening and had fire officials call residents to keep them in their homes because of possible hazardous chemicals in the air.
The fire broke out at 4 p.m. and could be seen for miles. Firefighters from Morgan Hill joined Gilroy fire officials to quench the blaze.
