 Born to Alvino and Lupe Valadez. Married to Ruth Marquez. Survived by daughter Ruby (Kathy) Lafstedt, brother Frank Valadez, sisters Lupe Arellano, Alice Gonzales, Mary Gallego, Hortensia Aguirre and Respected spouses. Grandchildren Margo, Marlo, Angelica, Ruben, Jessica, Gilbert, and Frank. Predeceased by his parents and wife and son Ruben Valadez. Brothers Raymond, John, Alvin, and sisters Sally and Esther. He is also survived by his step children Sally Yanez, Jerry Marquez, Gloria, and respective spouses.
 Predeceased by: Carlos, Richard, Sal, and Ernie Marquez. Special Pals Vicky and Dee. His loving sidekick “CHICO.”
