John Louis Saccullo passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack at the age of 63 on August 4, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Mary; son Richard, step son Larry (Dixie) Florio; grandchildren Talia and David Florio; brother Dominick (Martha) Saccullo of Livermore, sister Loretta (Sherman) Cantrell of Elko, NV; as well as many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who will miss his bright smile and zest for life.
John was well known in Gilroy for his generosity and helpfulness to his valued customers as owner/operator of Saccullos Glass and Discount Surplus for over 49 years. Finding solutions to difficult projects through mechanical tinkering was a passion of John’s and he was always eager to share his inventions with his friends and family.
A visitation will begin Thursday August 7, 2008 from 1:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service following at 7:00 P.M. both at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday August 8, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Gilroy.
