Leadership Gilroy’s Class of 2022 will host “A Salute to our Veterans” on Oct. 1 from 10am to 1pm at the Veterans Memorial Building, 74 West Sixth St.
The event will begin with the unveiling of the flagpole, which was refurbished thanks to fundraising by the class. There will also be an open house with a silent auction and benefit drawing to raise funds for the hall’s kitchen renovation project.
In addition, the event will also feature complimentary food, guest speakers including Mayor Marie Blankley, the hall’s Executive Director Christine West and veterans from the community.
