The Gilroy Little League crowned its regular season champions spanning the last week, and now those teams will begin their quests for district titles at the District 59 Tournament of Champions and All-Stars.
The White Sox defeated the Cubs in Boys Juniors action 15-5 to claim the championship Monday.
In a battle of No. 1 versus No. 3 seeds, The White Sox upset the Rangers in the Boys Majors American title game, 5-3, on Monday while the Phillies hoisted the Boys Majors National first-place trophy.
In Boys Minors action, the White Sox earned the American championship and the Giants won the National.
On the softball side of things, the Girls Majors Mets trumped the Giants 12-3 for their first-place finish.
The Girls Minors titlist will be decided Thursday night.
Rosters for this year’s All-Star teams will be finalized late Tuesday night.
