Eight-year-old Gilroy resident Carly Camarillo has been chosen as a state finalist in the National America Miss California Pageant that will be held July 26-29, 2012 at the Marriott Hotel in Santa Clara.
The National America Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4 to 18, and include five different age divisions. Carly will participate in the “Jr. Pre-teen” age division along with other outstanding young ladies from across California.
Carly’s activities include cheering for the Gilroy Browns, Junior Reporting for Hollywood ‘Teenzine, singing and dancing.
She also enjoys fashion shows (has participated in two – Scott Baio’s 50th birthday fundraiser for BBAF & Dream Magazine’s summer kick-off event), attending red carpet events/fundraisers in Los Angeles, hanging on the set of Disney and Nickelodeon shows and most of all being with her family.
