Louise G. Johnson passed away last Sunday at the age of 88, at the Gilroy Healthcare Center. Born in Caldwell, ID and has lived in Hollister for the past 15 years.
Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollister and Retired California State Employee’s Assn. Along with being a homemaker, she had worked as an Executive Secretary for Cal Fire.
Louise loved to cook, garden, sew an especially loved her family. She was an avid collector of angels.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Norris W. Johnson in 1985. She is the mother of Geri Johnson of Hollister, fiance, Gary Rocchi of Gilroy, Jim Johnson, wife, Kathi, of Morgan Hill and former daughter-in-law, Diane Johnson. Grandmother of Jimmy Johnson of Gilroy. Sister-in-law of Glenna Craig, husband, John, and Lillian Johnson all of Nebraska and George Haynes of Idaho. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no local services with services pending at a later date in Caldwell, ID.
