– The identity of a man killed when he was hit by a train March
8 was released Wednesday after Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office
officials were able to notify family members.
San Martin – The identity of a man killed when he was hit by a train March 8 was released Wednesday after Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office officials were able to notify family members.

The man was Edwin Campos Castillo, 31. He was lying on railroad tracks behind Farm Fresh Market in San Martin at approximately 1:30pm when a southbound Union Pacific freight train struck him.

Castillo’s city of residence was unavailable, according to officials with the coroner’s office, who refused to release the hometown of Castillo’s family.

The official cause of death was listed as multiple blunt force injuries.
