Manuel Encinas Munoz September 18, 1924 – February 23, 2012

Manuel E. Munoz passed away at Hazel Hawkins Hospital on February 22, 2012, at the age of 87. He is a native of Bisbee, AZ, lived there for a brief time, and moved to Mexico until 1948.
 Manuel met the love of his life, Concepcion (Connie) Munoz in El Paso, TX in 1948, and settled in Ysleta, TX, a suburb of El Paso. In 1950 he moved his family to Hanford, CA. In 1951, he settled in Hollister, was employed by Fairview Canning Company as a warehouseman and equipment operator.
In 1957 he was employed by PG&E as a linesman, electrician, and heavy equipment operator. He retired after 30 years of service with PG&E in 1987. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church as well as Immaculate Conception Parish.
 He and his wife enjoyed attending services at both churches. Manuel and Connie enjoyed traveling throughout the States, into Mexico, and traveled to Germany, France and Italy. Their favorite travels in their ! motorhome took them to visit relatives in Chicago and back to El Paso, TX.
Manuel with his wife, loved the outdoors, camping, visiting with their friends, and especially looked forward to spending time with their numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great,-grandchildren.
 Manuel celebrated with his wife and many relatives and friends their 60th Wedding Anniversary in 2009. Manuel is survived by his children, Felix (Christina) Salcido, Baldo (Cindy) Salcido, Angie (David) Talavera, Carol (Sam) Munoz-Rivera; daughters-in-law Jessica Salcido and Anna Munoz, Jenny Munoz; his sister Consuelo Gonzalez, sister-in-law Clara Canez, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons, Oscar Salcido, Armando and Gilbert Munoz; and his brothers Joe and Cruz Munoz.
 Visitation will be Tuesday, February 28th, 2012, from 12 noon until 8:30 P.M. with the rosary offered at 7:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will leave the mortuary Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M. for a Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Tres Pinos, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum. A reception will follow. Donations are preferred to Juvenile Diabetes Research c/o the mortuary chapel or to the Jovenes de Antano, Hollister Community Center. Serving at pallbearers will be Peter, Stephen, and KiKi Salcido; David Talavera Jr.; Armando and J.T. Munoz, and Adrian Davila.
