A 3.2 magnitude earthquake hit near Hollister on Saturday morning.

The earthquake occurred at 8:19 a.m. It was centered about seven miles southwest of Hollister and five miles south-southeast of San Juan Bautista, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicenter was in an area between Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreational Area and Fremont Peak State Park. It was felt in several parts of the Bay Area, according to the USGS.

The earthquake was at a depth of 4.3 miles.
