Dear Editor,
My husband and I moved to Gilroy 3 1/2 years ago. I was from New York and my husband was from Holland. Our first year in Gilroy we volunteered at the Gilroy Garlic Festival and were told about the Quail Canyon Inn. We took every back road just to find that place. More than 3 1/2 years later, the Quail had become a second home to us.
It was a place were we could meet up with friends, watch bikes roll in, enjoy free beans on Sundays and have a barbeque on Friday nights. If we had a bad day or a good day, we always felt better there. This was a place were we could relax and enjoy the scenery. I have never seen any problems there and I could honestly say, my husband and I were there almost daily.
Life just doesn’t feel the same. We miss our home and I know others feel the same. The Quail is loved by many.
