I think it is high time that we get a program going to keep
track of these sexual predators who are doing these terrible crimes
to our children. First of all we should set up a mandatory sentence
for those who are convicted of committing these sexual crimes.

I think it is high time that we get a program going to keep track of these sexual predators who are doing these terrible crimes to our children. First of all we should set up a mandatory sentence for those who are convicted of committing these sexual crimes. A minimum sentence of 25 years would be a start. Upon release from jail, a mandatory wearing of a bracelet that would allow law enforcement to find these criminals when they do not stay where they register to live as a sex offender.
If a hardened criminal like Martha Stewart can be forced to wear an ID bracelet, we sure can require a sexual predator to wear one when he or she has served the jail time that was given to them. A death sentence should be a mandatory sentence for any person who kills a child in a sexual crime of any type. A judge or jury should not have the right to give any sentence less than the death penalty to a killer in a sexual crime involving a child.
We need to write our elected officials, and demand that much more stringent penalties need to be given to these criminals.
