Dear Editor,

Amazing. I read Ms. Dilms remarks regarding myspace.com and before I even finished reading her paragraph I new it was from a teenager.

How? I had just heard the exact same comments from my own 14year old – moments after hearing the news of the girls molested in Middletown, Connecticut.

As a vigilant parent of three teens and a preschooler, these types of remarks from teenagers just reinforce the fact to me that teeangers do not have the maturity, common sense or discerning abilities to recognize the terrible repercussions that can happen from being “trusting” or by believing “its not that bad Mom.”

Yes the schools, libraries and any other institution has a moral obligation to block these dangerous avenues from our children. I thank Ms. Dilm, as she has just provided me with another “teachable moment” for me with my teenagers at our dinner table discussions.
