New Signs for Highways

A crew works Monday installing a sign that lets drivers heading
north on Highway 156 know that they are no longer permitted to make
a left turn onto Highway 152 to head east to Gilroy. Caltrans had
the sign installed because of the high number of accidents that
have happened when drivers turn left onto 152, according to Elvin
‘Doc’ Holliday, safety director with Chrisp Company, the firm doing
the work.
